About Denise

With more than $75 million in closed real estate sales in the Telluride market, Denise Scanlon brings extensive transaction experience, deep local knowledge, and a financial and title background to buyers and sellers throughout the Telluride region.

Denise has called Telluride home since 1995, giving her more than three decades of firsthand experience with the community and the evolution of its real estate market. Her experience spans Telluride, Mountain Village and the surrounding region, representing buyers and sellers across luxury residences, condominiums, mountain homes, land and investment properties.

Before entering real estate sales, Denise worked as a banker with Alpine Bank in Telluride and later spent seven years as a closing agent and Assistant Vice President with Telluride Mountain Title. That background gives her an unusually comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions, title matters, closings and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Resource Economics, Denise combines analytical market knowledge with a highly personal approach to real estate. Having lived, worked and raised her family in Telluride, she offers clients perspective that extends well beyond individual properties to the communities, neighborhoods and lifestyle that define the region.
