4th Of July In Telluride

It’s Almost Time To Celebrate!

Cue the kids in wagons waving flags down Main St, bbq and music in the park, fighter jets flying overhead in celebration … it’s Small Town USA at its best . Of all the incredible events happening, we’re really excited that for the first time in many years, we are supposed to have fireworks! We’ve put together a schedule of events planned for July 4th below. Please let us know if you will be in town – we’d love to see you.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
RUNDOLA
Starts at 8am / Base of Telluride Gondola
Hosted by the Telluride Foundation, the Rundola starts at the base of the gondola in town and finishes at the top of the ridge. Runners/hikers will climb up the Telluride Trail with an elevation gain of 1,810 ft.  register here

FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
Starts at 11am / Colorado Avenue
The longest running event in the Town’s history. The parade celebrates our country’s independence with kids, dogs, floats – and more.  

FOURTH OF JULY BASH
12PM – 5:30PM / Telluride Town Park
The Town of Telluride is hosting a celebration immediately following the parade. There will be live music, various food vendors, family-friendly games and activities, nonprofit fundraisers, and a beer garden with beer, wine and more. Local musicians performing include Tyler & Warren, Petty Grass, Supa Def, Joint Point and Soul Brass Band.

RED, WHITE, & BLUES CELEBRATION
All Day / Mountain Village Core
The Town of Mountain Village and Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association are teaming up to offer a fun, free, family-friendly Fourth of July celebration. Specific details have yet to be announced – check here for updates

FIREWORKS DISPLAY
Dusk / Telluride Town Park
The Telluride Fire Department is planning on a fireworks show to close the celebration. Weather dependent.
