Trevor James
A native New Zealander, Trevor moved to New York City at the start of his career. There, he led architectural design studios for some of the biggest names in the design industry. While he loved life in the big city for the nearly 20 years he spent there, Trevor found that he loved what the Telluride area offered more.
After experiencing Telluride as a part-time local for over a decade, he and his wife and son relocated here full-time in 2013. At that time he co-founded Fuse Architecture + Interior, designing beautiful homes and interiors for owners in Telluride, Mountain Village, Down Valley, and on the surrounding mesas.
Trevor currently serves his local neighborhood community as president of the Placer Valley Village HOA. In this role he has successfully spearheaded a critical bridge replacement through a cooperative funding agreement between the HOA, San Miguel County, and Colorado Department of Transportation.
Matching people with the properties of their dreams has been a natural progression for Trevor. He combines the listening skills he has developed over his design career with an intuitive ability to see beyond the current state of a property to what could be. Moreover, he knows what is needed to realize a vision in our area.
Trevor’s background, his love and understanding of the Telluride Region, and his lived experience in literally building dreams are unparalleled assets when helping you identify and create your own Telluride dream.
